Australia October 2017 - Mossman Gorge

A trip to Mossman Gorge was planned; this was a drive along the coast road taking in some of the most breathtaking views of the Queensland Coast.   Pauline coped extremely well with the hilly route and we have several photography stops.

The first place we called at was Yorky's Knob - where our niece Karen lives.

An alarming notice warning that crocodiles inhabit this area.

We continued our journey - sorry I did not take note of all the names of the places we stopped at - just enjoy the views as I did.

Just one photo of Port Douglas where we stopped for lunch.  There was a little craft market there on the boardwalk and we bought some delicious smelling body scrub.

Mossman's Gorge

The very colourful bus that took us up to the gorge and then back down again to pick up our car.

Next - Karunda by train and back by sky rail
