Funghi on Farley Heath

Image
Last August my neighbour, John, and I went on a toadstool hunt to take photographs.  August is quite early for toadstools, but as John walks his dogs on Farley Heath he had noticed lots of toadstools had appeared.  It was an opportunity not to be missed.

Sunrise in Folkestone, Kent

Image
Brian and I recently had a weekend in Folkestone, Kent, and I took these sunrise photo's from our hotel room using my Casio Exilim camera.  They were not all taken on the same day and are, I realise, a bit repetitious, but I love the colours in the sky and the clouds.  The last two are just a couple of 'snaps' of boats stranded at low tide.

A summer's day on Run Common

Image
Run Common, near Guildford, June 2011 One of the rare hot and sunny days this summer.   Interesting - dew on cobweb This bull was keeping guard over his ladies - I did not linger long here! Along the old railway track Red clover - quite beautiful seen close up
