I travelled up to Manchester a couple of weeks ago to attend the Pelargonium & Geranium National Show which was held at RHS Bridgewater. The Show did not have as many entries as we would have liked due we think to it being a new location for us. Nevertheless, the standard was very high and we put on a good show. A BBC film crew was in attendance all day, so we look forward to seeing the show on television. It will be part of a series on RHS Bridgewater.

A magnificent display put on by Yorksguire Pelargonium Society. In the front are pots of Mrs Pollack all grown in various Peat Free composts. |

One of our members brought his bagpipes along and entertained us at the end of the Show |
Finally, I couldn't resist this photo of the gardeners' boots in the staff area.
