A visit to the Lavender Fields was due to take place on Saturday, arranged by the Camera Club and another photography group I belong to, but due to the wet and windy weather forecast, it was cancelled. Friday's weather was set fair -no rain and gentle winds, so Angie, Ann, and I decided we would go along on our own.
The weather was indeed dry, but dull with occasional sunny spells, and was blustery at times. I was so pleased I was able to get some photos of the butterflies. There were also areas of wildflowers.
