What's not to love about Iris Reticulata. I just love the intricate markings on their petals. Names underneath

Standing at the bus stop last Saturday I could not resist taking these photos - the sky was a beautiful blue and the village looked perfect.  We are indeed lucky to live in such a beautiful village.
A few flowers in the garden.

Sarcococca - sometimes called Christmas Box.  I have this growing by the front door and the scent is quite delicious on a sunny day in February.

Hellebores - I have some white ones as well, but they look a bit 'muddy' this year.

Aahh ... snowdrops

Vinca - or Periwinkle - this flowers sporadically through the year.  It also spreads and I pull it up regularly.

Cyclamen coum - hardy cyclamen

| Daffodils - of course.  These are Tete-a-tete.   I buy a few planted-up pots from the supermarket each year and grow them indoors in the conservatory or porch and plant them out to flower in the garden the following year.
