Tulip Festival at Arundel Castle

Marie said "Lets go to see the Tulip Festival at Arundel Castle" - so last Tuesday morning we set off for Arundel in West Sussex. It was a gloriously warm sunny day and we enjoyed seeing the tulips at their best. Arundel Castle The tree is a Paulownia tomentosa - sometimes called an Empress Tree, or Foxglove Tree. The flowers do resemble the flowers of foxgloves.
