Canary Wharf - March 2024

Image
The first U3A coach outing of the year, organised by my neighbour Sheila,  took place last week.  She had arranged another outing to Canary Wharf which we visited in April 2022 - you can read this here if you missed it.  We were very fortunate with the weather - rain had been forecast, but it stayed dry all day, although very overcast. We also went into the museum to see the exhibition of how Jewish Londoners shaped global style.  It was very interesting.  Sadly no photos as it was very dark inside.   Old and new Still building going on The following three photographs are original wharf buildings, now converted into restaurants and flats. All built very close together The following five photographs were taken in Canary Wharf roof garden. A lot of windows! Finally - we were in Canary Wharf but we did not see any canaries.   We did see this..... --------------------------------------

There was another exhibition of sculptures by an artist called Greg Johns View from the vineyard garden The following are just a few photos from around the city of Adelaide that I took one day. This is Part 10 (and final).  To see Parts 1-9 see "Archive" on the left panel. I hope you have enjoyed seeing some of my photographs from my trip to Australia last year.  I took many m...
