Visit to RHS Garden, Wisley. October 2020
Another outing with the three ladies from the Camera Club - this time to RHS Garden, Wisley. Again, it was a dull day, but we enjoyed the walk round and at least the rain stayed away. We had to book a day and time. On arrival at the gardens there was a long queue, which actually moved quite quickly and we were soon inside. The splendid display of pumpkins and squashes is just inside the entrance and is the first thing visitors see. There are fourof these sculptures dotted around Wisley Gardens, depicting the fourseason. I can't say I was enamoured with them They look a bit scary. This one is rather nice A beautiful white Nerine Some orchids in the Glasshouse Not sure what this is, but lovely colour We had planned another outing last Friday, but as the weather was appalling we called it off and re-scheduled to go next Friday - the day after the second lockdown starts.
